Gordon Kay

Gordon Kay

Gordon created SYS in 1996 and is its Managing Director. He is English and is 32 years old. He has completed more than 250,000 sea miles and 2 circumnavigations. He has been the driving force behind the design and development of all SYS yachts. He completed his Business Studies degree at Cambridge Business School before he commenced his professional sailing career. Gordon manages all the affairs of SYS and its clients. He is particularly interested in promoting innovative marketing solutions. Gordon is the skipper of all SYS yachts during racing and record breaking attempts. Gordon is married and has a daughter Victoria aged 2. Gordon speaks English, French and Spanish. He divides his time between Spain, England, Holland and Poland.

Dr Maria Estanque

Maria Estanque

Maria is Portuguese and works for SYS New Zealand. She is 31 and has bachelors degree in Tourism and a Masters degree in Tourism Management and a diploma in Productivity Engineering. Maria is fluent in Portuguese, English, Spanish, French and German. She manages the financial operation of SYS NZ and works closely with SYS clients to ensure seamless delivery of SYS products to its clients.

Alina Kukla

Alina Kukla

Alina is Polish and is aged 28. She works for SYS New Zealand and holds a Masters Degree in Marketing. Alina is responsible for the daily financial affairs of SYS NZ. Alina speaks Polish, English and German. Alina originally joined SYS as part the Sailing Team before moving to the shore based role. She has a complete understanding of the balance between the sailing and marketing operation of all SYS operations.
